Lorenzo

In his early 20's, Lorenzo approached the religious field of fine art. Fromassisting on scaffolding thru all the elaborate phases of fresco technique,Lorenzos Agony & Ecstasy stands for posterity on many ceilings and domes ofRomanian Orthodox Cathedrals. He used the traditional old Byzantine style aswell as the more modern western world influences, especially being fascinated bythe glorious accomplishments of the artists of Italian Renaissance and Baroque.

Without following any particularly institutional fine art academic steps,Lorenzo kept on studying "The Classics" - from Greeks to Romans, from Italiansto French and Dutch. The freedom of visiting the world most famous art museumswas not a dream anymore. The opulence of Versailles and the incredible treasuresof Louvre converged with Lorenzo's deeply affection toward most beloved "eternalcity" Rome.

In 1986 Lorenzo moved from Rome - Italy, to United States. His highlyelaborate background in painting and drawing has given him the strength to workhis way up in artists society. Working with art consulting businesses, hesuccessfully created numerous fine art commissions for corporate as well asprivate clients. From the collections of National Museum of Catholic Art inRockefeller Center, New York, to corporate collections like Sheraton Hotels,Lorenzos work is greatly appreciated. Lorenzo also created and still conductingClassicMurals, an outstanding Southern California decorative fine artcompany
