Alessandro Nocentini was born in Florence, Italy in 1949 where he lives andworks. Since 1973, he has been showing his work and received recognition fromthe international art world. He is known for being one of Italy's best engraversand etchers of the second generation, earning praise from the critics and thepublic. Nocentini's graphics are individually water-coloured after pressingresulting in a lyrical effect of remarquable intensity and beauty. His subjectsare drawn from nature and hold an organic quality that is the foundationalstrength of all his works.
