Born in Miami, Florida and surrounded by the arts from an early age, CourtRomano has devoted himself his mind and his heart, to producing some of the mostcompelling paintings on the market today.

In his youth, Court traveled extensively throughout North and South Americawith one particularly important trip leading him to Bali. These travels wouldprove invaluable to his development as an artist, as they allowed him to studyhis craft and hone his skills in various art schools throughout the world whileexposing him to very distinct and rich cultures. Wherever he went he wouldimmerse himself in the local culture. On his eventual return to Miami, he woulddraw on much of his experience abroad, while attending The New World School ofthe Arts, he would take on numerous commissioned works for hotels and prominentresidences.

This became a decisive point in Courts life as it showed him that he could infact make a career out of his first love: painting. Upon this realization, Courtwho had always been known for his calm and studious approach to life becameimpatient but not impulsive. He explored the possibility of establishing astudio where he could produced and refine his work while at the same time expandhis visual vocabulary.

Within the year he would be back in Bali. Once settled into Ubud, Baliscultural and arts center, Court began his professional life by building hisstudio in the great traditions of the old world art guilds of Europe and Japan.He worked shoulder to shoulder with master artists to produce the striking workthat his studio has since become known for, and that currently adorns both homesand hotels around the world. In his studio, Court has also begun to prepare thenext generation of artists by passing on both his experience and knowledge toeager apprentices under his tutelage.

Courts style is influenced by modern design and nature, balanced with theknowledge he gained during his training and fed by his passion as an artist. Heis constantly searching for new ways to communicate through the canvas andstrives to create work that is both elegant and timeless. His paintings arecreated in oils, acrylics, and lacquers.
